Taxonomies help your users discover the best applications in your Gallery. We've labeled the two different forms of taxons high level taxonomies and child taxons.

To start creating taxons go to the Taxonomies page within the Apps tab.

High Level Taxonomies

The first step to creating a taxon is picking an encompassing high level taxon. You will then be able to add additional child taxons to your high level taxon.

Upon clicking the Taxonomies tab, the first page you're brought to is the high level taxonomies creation page. Select New Taxonomy to create a new high level taxon. You can also click the 5717.png to edit an existing category.

Once you've created your first high level taxon you will need to create child taxons within.

Child Taxons

From the high level taxons page, click the 5717.png to head to the child taxon mangement page.

To create your first child taxon, right click the category name and select "Create". You will be able to add applications directly to these taxons so, for example, when a user clicks on "Staff Picks" under the "Featured Apps" category they will see all the applications you've assigned to that taxon.
