Once one of your users submits an application to your App Gallery you will be able to see it in your Application Submission Queue, which is found under the Apps portal of your dashboard.

Submissions Dashboard Details

On the submission form you will see 5 properties - application priority, application name, developer name, app description and when the app was submitted.

  • Application Priority: Once you receive a submission you can immediately categorize it into 3 different priority levels - low, medium and high. This will add a color representing the level of priority on the left-hand side and additionally move the application to the top of the submission queue. Priority levels are universally shown to all App Gallery administrators.

  • Application Name: The name field is automatically pulled when an application is submitted from the iOS, Android or HTML OpenAppMkt platforms. Otherwise, this property is designated by the submitter during the submission flow.

  • Developer Name: The name field will only show a name if an app developer submits their application to your Gallery and verifies it's theirs. If you receive an app submission without a developer name, it is highly likely it was submitted by a non-developer. If the developer name is displayed, clicking it will give you access to their email address (you can also right-click, Copy Email Address).

  • Application Description: Similar to the application name field, this property will be pulled directly from apps that are submitted from the iOS, Android and HTML OpenAppMkt platforms. Otherwise, this area will preview what description was specified by the submitter.

  • Submission Date: As simple as it sounds; this displays the date the application was submitted.

  • Assigning Categories: A method to further organize your app submissions. There are three different categories: New Submission, Pending Review and In Progress. As you move through the stages of approving and/or rejecting an app, changing the category will help organize your submissions.

Managing Your Submissions

Once you receive a submission you should first preview the application. To preview an app, click on the app name from within the submission dashboard.

The preview page will showcase what the application page will look like if approved and also gives you some features to help categorize, test and approve/reject the application.

  • Notes: Keep track of the application by keeping notes. Notes will help other Gallery admins sync up with the status of apps you're managing & is a good tool for reference.

  • Test URL: This button will take you to where the app install button is set to. It's a good idea to check this URL before an application is pushed live.

  • Edit: This will let you begin editing your applications where you are able to begin your editorial review of the app and categorizing it within your created taxonomies.

  • Approval: Approving an application will push the app live in your Gallery while rejecting it will remove it from your submission queue and bucket it under rejected apps.
