You have the ability to edit each of the apps in your Gallery. While changing the pre-existing data (title, description, screenshots, developer name) is only possible for the developer of the application, an App Gallery admin can add an editorial review, rating, video embed and more additions to an app page.
Getting to the Edit Page
There are a couple ways you can get to an application's edit page; both created for ease of use.
From a live application page you can scroll down to find a simple menu along the right-hand side only available to Gallery administrators. From here you can click Edit Application, which will take you into the back-end admin edit screen for the app.
From the Manage Apps admin dashboard you can find a list of all the applications that are currently live in your App Gallery. To find the application(s) you are trying to edit, you can search for the app using the search tool at the top right or just sort alphabetically and flip through result pages.
Editing Your Applications
From the application edit menu you can write editorial reviews, give editorial ratings, change the install button text, add the app to pre-created taxons and clear the application's cache. [If manually created this application, this edit menu will provide further in-depth features. Please refer to the Manually Adding Apps article to learn more about these features]
Editorial Review is where you can add your own personal review about the application, which will appear directly below the developer's description on the live application page [example].
Editor Rating gives you the means to give an application a 0 to 5 star rating. Your users can then sort through your Gallery based on your editorial ratings.
Install Button Text lets you customize the text layover on the install button. This is a unique action and will not change the install button text across your App Gallery (although to do so, please refer to the Front-End Labels and Messaging article).
The Logo and Screenshots links give you the means to see the assets that were uploaded by the developer. Clicking these assets from within the admin menu will give you a direct link, which you can use to download the assets.
Taxons let you assign your app to taxonomies you've created through the Taxonomies Manager. Featured Taxons lets you push individual applications to the top of a category, increasing exposure to your users.
Clear Cache isn't needed most of the time, although when you notice data in the back-end differs from the data on the front-end then using this tool should fix the issue.
